We have had our house painted by a Peruvian and would like to recognize his excellent work, is a personal gift acceptable or is it more appropriate to do the American tradition of adding to the agreed upon price ? We do not want to offend him and would like to honor the traditions of his native Peru (Lima). Any info would be appreciated.
